Jezierski, a former professor of history at Saginaw Valley State University. The goal of the project was to preserve experiences of the past in the Saginaw Valley area. Specific topics of interest include the bean, sugar, coal mining and oil industries as well as information on American Indians, logging, sailing on the Great Lakes and life on the Saginaw River. The interviews were collected in 1972-87 by students in a Michigan history course with the aim of making the interviews available to scholars, both amateur and professional. The interviews were originally recorded on audiocassette and later transferred to digital audio format.</text>

<text>The Saginaw Valley Oral History project collection was created and donated to the university by Dr. John V.

<text>The Saginaw Valley Oral History project collection was created and donated to the university by Dr. John V.

John V.

John V.
